Who We Are
Twegaite Global is a distinguished nonprofit organization established in accordance with the provisions of the USA Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the State of California Not for Profit Corporation Code. Our foundation is rooted in a commitment to serve and uplift the Basoga communities globally, with a particular focus on those residing in the USA, Canada, and beyond. We foster socio-economic development, cultural preservation, and community empowerment through strategic initiatives and collaboration.
The Executive Committee coordinates various programs, manages resources, and engages with stakeholders to fulfill our mission. Through their diligent efforts, they drive operational excellence and responsiveness, ensuring Twegaite Global remains effective in addressing the needs of the Basoga communities we serve.
Twegaite Global is an organization formed by individuals residing in the USA, Canada, and various other parts of the world, all of whom share a deep-rooted connection to the Busoga region in Uganda. By leveraging our collective resources, knowledge, and networks, we foster socio-economic development, cultural exchange, and community cohesion among Basoga people worldwide.
